For the European Commission
This study is impact assessment of rating practices in the audiovisual sector. Audiovisual rating systems are implemented by different institutions across Europe. These emanate from both the industry and institutions. Rating systems vary from one State to another, as well as, within a single State, from one media to another. The study aimed at identifying the impact of such heterogeneity in rating systems and on different audiovisual markets, and highlighting possible confusions for stakeholders (the industry, consumers, parents, professors, etc.). The report is available here.
