The EPIC-WE Consortium has held its second on-site meeting in the beautiful cities of Amsterdam and Hilversum. This meeting marked the end of the successful year two of the project, and served as the kick-off for the final and third year. The meeting was warmly hosted by EPIC-WE’s Hilversum Hub, and the rich programme created opportunities for exchange, brainstorming, in-depth conversations, and talks on achievements and challenges.
During the first day, the consortium visited the premises of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences for a morning of consortium meetings. Important points of discussion included brainstorming ideas for the sustainability of EPIC-WE, discussion on key milestones ahead, and ideating plans for the last year. And, of course, time was reserved for playing games!
After the fruitful first morning together, the consortium headed to the Shelter of Dropstuff Media, located at the former airbase of Soesterberg. The agenda included some meaningful and fun social activities, and exploring Dropstuff’s venue full with games and attractions.
The second meeting day was held at the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum. After the concluding discussions and workshops, the consortium visited the archival depots and Media Museum for a fantastic tour. The two days of work were concluded with a boat cruise through Amsterdam’s canals.
