Welcome Massimiliano to the team!

We’re pleased to present to you the latest additions to KEA’s team, Massimiliano Bonne!

He is joining KEA as a Senior Consultant to bring his expertise in cultural heritage and international cooperation.

Let’s get to know him a little bit better!

Tell us more about your background and your interests at work

I am Italian/Belgian and a consultant specializing in culture and, more broadly, governance. I engage in consulting for cooperation, civil society, and human rights. My background includes working in multicultural environments, where communication is vital, and teamwork is essential. I have accumulated substantial professional experience as a fundraiser and project director at an NGO in Brussels for 11 years, a role that has always been fascinating.

Before joining KEA, I coordinated the EC framework SIEA for culture and governance at an Italian consultancy firm. I have extensive experience in evaluation, monitoring, and training, particularly in Asia, Central Asia, and Russia.

Your mission at KEA and what you want to bring to the table

I began to see working in an international consultancy as the best way to fulfill my aspirations. I joined KEA with a firm belief that culture and international cooperation are indeed the bridges between diverse interests, societies, and generations, providing inspiration and guidance. In the face of numerous local and global challenges, these elements are crucial for developing effective responses.

To sum it up, my main motivations for joining KEA European Affairs are:

  1. Embracing an international profile and achieving common goals.
  2. Taking responsibility and tackling challenging, rewarding tasks.
  3. Being part of a leading cooperative effort aimed at cultural development.

Tell us something you love to do outside of work!

Outdoor activities. Games, Music DJ, Books, Martial Arts, Sailing, Travels.

We can’t wait to work and learn with Massimiliano!
