We’re pleased to present to you Greta! She has joined KEA as a Research Trainee with the purpose of acquiring new skills and knowledge in the field of European projects and policy research.
Now, let’s take a moment to get to know her better!
Tell us more about your background and your interests at work
After studying firstly Communication Sciences and Culture and then Cultural Management, I have developed over the years a keen interest in cultural statistics. Thanks to the MA I attended and my last experience at BAM! Strategie Culturali, I have had the chance to experience both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis for the cultural and creative industries. I am looking forward to furthering my understanding of research methodologies at the European and international levels.
Your mission at KEA and what you want to bring to the table
In the past years I have researched and analysed the impacts, especially the social ones, generated by arts and culture on people and society. A topic that I find very interesting concerns the positive impacts of cultural activities on people’s well-being, which can be enhanced through the so-called “cultural welfare projects”.
At KEA, I hope to learn new ways and methodologies to explore these impacts, while simultaneously bringing to the table my skills and passion for quantitative and qualitative data, statistics, Excel and SAS.
Tell us something you love to do outside of work!
I love travelling, but most importantly, I love planning the whole trip in detail. I love camping, hiking and spending time in close contact with nature – one of my biggest dreams is to own a camper van (and a corgi).
