KEA European Affairs is pleased to announce that Arthur Le Gall is the new Managing Director of KEA. Arthur has been a cornerstone of KEA for more than 12 years, having served as Director since 2018. His tenure has been marked by substantial contributions to policy design, strategic development, and network expansion within the cultural and creative industries.  

In his new role, Arthur is committed to building upon KEA’s rich legacy and advancing its mission through innovative projects and strategic initiatives.  

“I’m thrilled to lead KEA into the future, building on the exceptional work done over the past 25 years. I look forward to embarking on this new journey with my trusted colleagues and engaging in exciting projects that will advance the role of culture, creative industries, and sport in society,” he stated.  

This transition marks an exciting new phase for KEA, as the company celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2024. Over the past quarter-century, KEA has established itself as a leader in supporting the cultural and creative sectors through groundbreaking research, policy design, and strategic advice. Our 25th year has already seen the launch of several international projects, impactful studies, and significant new partnerships, setting the stage for continued success and growth in the years ahead. 

Philippe Kern, Founder of KEA, stated: “I am very pleased to pass the leadership mantle to Arthur. His dedication, strategic insight, and track record make him the perfect choice to lead KEA into the future.” 

Arthur’s extensive background includes evaluating and designing support programs for the arts, culture, and creative sectors across Europe and beyond. He has delivered strategic advice to local authorities on leveraging sport, culture, and creative industries for regional development. He is also the co-founder of the b.creative network, a global community of over 1,500 creative entrepreneurs. His expertise extends to advising companies and organizations on business models, aligning funding opportunities with strategic goals, and managing EU-funded projects such as the Creative Europe Guarantee Facility. 

Under the new leadership, KEA will continue to leverage its expertise and commitment to support the cultural and creative sectors through groundbreaking research, strategic advice, and impactful projects. We look forward to the continued support of our clients and partners as we embark on this exciting new phase.
