Diversity at KEA
KEA values the range of identities and experiences that shape the cultural sector, and we’re committed to creating a working environment where that diversity is recognised and supported. We bring together colleagues from different backgrounds across the world, a celebrated diversity that only strengthens our capacities as a cultural research and consultancy centre. An inherent appreciation for sociocultural nuance and difference has made for a zero-tolerance attitude towards discrimination of any form at KEA. We maintain clear policies in support of staff well-being and do our best to ensure that nobody working with or for KEA experiences discrimination on the basis of race, gender, disability, religion, or sexual orientation. We also believe in equal access to opportunity and hiring based on merit.

Sustainability
Sustainability
At KEA, maintaining a low carbon footprint is more than a priority - it’s a responsibility. We reduce our environmental impact wherever possible by embedding sustainability into the way we work, travel, and create. This means:
- Choosing trains over planes for international travel (and e-meetings over both).
- Encouraging commuting by foot, bike, or public transport.
- Limiting single-use plastics, minimizing printing, and running almost paperless offices.
- Partnering with sustainable catering services for our events.
- Embedding energy-saving practices in our daily operations.
- Practicing digital sustainability: keeping content lightweight, avoiding unnecessary data storage, and using AI only where it adds true value.
- Most importantly, committing to projects that directly advance sustainability in practice - not just in principle
