The project supported the launch and development of the Sport Action Network (SAN) in the context of the European Week of Regions and Cities. It aimed to link sport, territorial development, and innovation by facilitating engagement between policymakers, local and regional authorities, the sports industry, and the wider public. The assignment also focused on consolidating the network and providing policy and strategic support for its activities. The project included organizing workshops, capacity-building events, policy briefs, and compiling good practice case studies to strengthen the network’s role in promoting sport for regional development across Europe.
