Project summary

GreenBeat Nexus is an Creative Europe initiative accelerating the green transition in Europe’s music sector, aligned with the EU Green Deal. It tackles environmental challenges by mapping best practices, building sector capacity, and distributing €3.6 million to over 60 innovative projects. The program supports sustainable practices in production, live events, touring, and digital distribution. In partnership with Creative Europe and Music Moves Europe, the project embeds sustainability into cultural industries.

A Network of Green Specialists provides tailored mentorship, while collaborations with policymakers and institutions ensure broad impact. Led by INOVA+, European Music Council, The Green Room, On the Move, and KEA, the consortium brings expertise in research, policy, and funding. GreenBeat Nexus aims to make sustainability a core industry principle, benefiting stakeholders of all sizes and fostering systemic change across Europe’s music landscape.
