EXCENTRIC

Project summary

EXCENTRIC supports the digital transition aimed at sustainable and responsible growth in the European Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI). It addresses the underutilization of data in experience sectors such as live music, festivals, theatre, and museums. These sectors create value through audience-centric intangible cultural experiences. The project develops and implements Collaborative Data Practices via four sector-specific and two cross-sectoral pilots. It equips organizations with smart data infrastructure and tools to enhance programming, pricing, resource management, and audience engagement. Human-centric principles guide the development, involving creative workforce needs and skills. EXCENTRIC also builds data literacy and organizational capabilities to sustain innovation beyond the project’s duration. At the policy level, it formulates evidence-based recommendations for digital transformation, pioneering collaborative data practices in CCSI.
