KEA carried out a study to identify good practices in public support projects for CCIs and developed a benchmarking matrix with indicators to assess the impact of cultural policies in European mid-sized cities and regions. The study aimed to inform local/regional policy and EU funding use.

KEA's contribution

KEA conducted an overview of public policy evaluation methodologies; identified 10 good practice cities/regions from an initial 60; collected qualitative and quantitative data; elaborated a draft benchmarking raster with 23 economic indicators; tested it with project managers; finalised the raster with a practical guide.
