Project summary

This study mapped the landscape of Traditional Sports and Games (TSG) across the EU, identifying 174 active organisations and 14 related EU projects. The research aimed to better understand key initiatives, highlight good practices, and provide recommendations for supporting TSG at EU level. Recommendations focused on fostering synergies with other EU programmes, strengthening financial models, and creating an EU network for TSG. The study served as a strategic resource for decision-makers to promote and develop traditional sports and games across Europe.
