Project summary

KEA advised on the feasibility of an EU-China platform for Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) under the EU-China IPR2 project. The study mapped CCIs in the EU and China, developed a strategy for the platform, identified key stakeholders, and provided policy recommendations to enhance EU-China CCI cooperation.

KEA's contribution

KEA carried out desk research, interviews, and field studies in Beijing and Shenzhen; set up a stakeholder database; drafted working and short papers; developed a strategy plan for platform creation; organized a trade mission of 25 European CCIs; and presented results at the China-EU Forum.
