Project summary

The research aimed to provide recommendations and concrete proposals to create synergies among different EU funding instruments to support the development of the audiovisual (AV) sector. The study highlighted the economic, social, and cultural importance of the AV sector in Europe and explored how it could benefit from EU policies beyond Creative Europe.The paper illustrated a cross-sectoral approach with concrete examples of how future support for the AV sector could cut across multiple EU policies and funding instruments, offering guidance to policymakers and industry stakeholders.
