This project explores the economic, cultural, financial, and social impacts of video games in Europe, and how the industry intersects with various policy areas. It aims to deepen understanding of the sector and identify future policy options, while also building a network of actors and experts to support the growth of the EU video game industry. The study covers market analysis, regulatory frameworks, and the cultural and social dimensions of video games, and provides policy recommendations to support the sector.

KEA's contribution

KEA contributed to the design and management of an online survey, the organisation of 12 workshops with around 500 participants, and the analysis of the video games sector. KEA also led communication activities including social media and graphic design, and supported the development of policy recommendations and the creation of an EU-wide network of stakeholders.
