Cultural Heritage in Action

Project summary

Cultural Heritage in Action is a peer-learning programme for local and regional policymakers to exchange knowledge on cultural heritage. It focuses on participatory governance, adaptive reuse, and quality of interventions. The programme developed a catalogue of 60 good practices from EU cities, regions, and rural areas, and organised 20 peer-learning visits with over 20 participants each.

KEA's contribution

KEA acted as scientific coordinator, managing and reviewing the work of 12 experts. KEA co-produced the catalogue of best practices, participated in 10 peer-learning visits as expert facilitator, and authored the final analysis report.
